The Spotlight Awards are a notable recognition given to exceptional MediaLab team members by their peers. The tradition was started back in 2016, when our first round of winners were celebrated at our annual holiday party.

A CULTURE WORTHY OF THE SPOTLIGHT

Culture is everything at MediaLab. You can find us talking about it all over our site, social media, and… pretty much everywhere. There’s a good reason for that. Well, a great reason for that. Our culture is truly something special. If you ask anyone on our team what they love most about their job, we guarantee the people they work with will top their list.

When you have so many champions of your culture, it’s essential that you recognize and celebrate them. That’s why we developed The Spotlight Awards. These annual awards are one of the ways to share our appreciation for the awesome people that make MediaLab such a great place to work. After all, if it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t have this great culture to talk about.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX – CREATIVITY AWARD

Nominees not only possess creative talent, but are also able to creatively accomplish objectives with an eye for aesthetics and the skills to get the job done.

GAME CHANGER – INNOVATION AWARD

This award is for the one who’s known for questioning what’s possible, who’s invested in the “next thing” and driven to make it a reality.

INFLUENCER – POSITIVE IMPACT AWARD

As the true personification of our culture, this individual truly sees their teammates while their positivity radiates outward, like a ripple effect.

ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL – COLLABORATION AWARD

Problem-solving is second nature, and to them, success is defined by everyone reaching the finish line as a team by working smarter, together, to achieve common goals.

ABOVE AND BEYOND – CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD

Nominees embody the client experience at MediaLab and enable clients to maintain their confidence in us as a true partner, not just a vendor.

THE BIG PICTURE – BUSINESS SUCCESS AWARD

This award is for someone who keeps accountability and profitability in mind, sharing best practices with others and elevating their team.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

Nominations are made by fellow team members and final selections are made by our leadership. As if a great year weren’t enough cause for celebration, we also look forward to the winners being announced at our holiday party every January. These winners then hold their spotlight titles for a year and pass the torch on to the following year’s recipients.
