YOUR HOMEBUYERS NEED

DIGITAL CONTENT

INDUSTRY CHECK-IN

The homebuilding industry is in quite an interesting state right now. Prices are rising and inventory is decreasing. While homebuilders are definitely reaping the benefits of potentially not needing to build model homes or spend a ton of money getting their name out there, it’s important that we all focus on the ones who really matter: those homebuyers.

What an incredibly frustrating time to buy a home! People are searching for longer periods of time, are not able to find the right home due to price, and while it looks like they are starting to come to terms with spending more for their home, there has also been an increase in those who are giving up.

The inability to find a home at an affordable price is the reason the plurality of buyers in most regions haven’t been successful getting a home in Q221.  – NAHB

SELLING WITHOUT MODELS

Now, while we believe homebuyers are really getting the short end of the stick here, we understand it’s not all rainbows and butterflies for homebuilders either.

As we check in with more and more of our clients, we’re hearing that they don’t have enough inventory to sell. Without model homes to show off, the life of the home sales consultant also gets a little trickier. If you don’t have anything there physically to show, how do you get those buyers to not only get a good look at your homes, but fall in love with one so much so that they are willing to go WAY over their budget?

DIGITAL CONTENT, THAT’S HOW

“No matter how good the sales landscape is, there is still a need to communicate with homebuyers. These folks are looking to us to create new and upgrade existing artwork while leveraging our best-in-class web tools to sell homes. They are also looking at ways they can move their sales process entirely online.” – Bruce VanWingerden, CEO, MediaLab 3D Solutions

Especially when you don’t have a physical home to show, you need digital imagery to sell homes. That imagery also better be high-quality and accurately representing your products to convince buyers to pay more and wait longer construction time periods.

By creating the right digital collateral for your potential homebuyers, you’re communicating that you truly care about their experience. Whether that experience happens online and on their own, or comes with the guidance of your sales teams, it must find the balance of educational and engaging.

When we talk about the right digital content, we’re talking about…

FLOOR PLANS

Created from construction or architectural design files, our Floor Plans allow buyers to get an idea of the layout that suits their lifestyle.

SITEMAPS

Give a bird’s-eye view of your community that allows you to easily share the lay of the land. Showcase amenity areas and much more in relation to homesites so buyers can envision what life is like within the community.

EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR RENDERINGS

Whether you’re building a model home or not, both Exterior and Interior Renderings help buyers fall in love with your homes. They show off all the details while allowing them to envision what it would be like to pull into the driveway or move their furniture in.

EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR VISUALIZERS

Buyers want to know that they have options and want to see exactly what those options look like when they all come together. Visualizers give them the ability to pick their perfect color scheme, cabinets, countertops and so much more.

While there are so many more types of content and interactive tools that help potential homebuyers along their journey, these pieces fill a lot of the gaps. The best part? You don’t even need to build those expensive model homes to really make them feel like they are actually there.

By truly putting those potential buyers first, you’re proving to them that they’re entrusting the right builder with their dream home. Experience is everything. When your buyers feel like they have the cards stacked against them, digital content can help ease the frustration.
